Giving Back to the Communities

The Canada Running Series Foundation's (CRSF's) mission is to give back to the communities we run through, and to promote healthy lifestyles through running — especially in the young!


There wasn't any logo available to promote the foundation. The task was about designing a modern and inviting logo to support Canada Running Series non-profit sister company, Canada Running Series Foundation.


In the early stages, we started off by creating some design concepts to find the right look and feel. The goal was to retain brand identity yet, make it more organic to highlight the purpose of the foundation of "giving back to the communities we run through".


The new logo showcases a family running through Canada with buildings resembling communities in the background. The purpose of that is to validate this is what Canada Running Series Foundation is about. The logo ties to Canada Running Series, the leaf element remains a constant, as well as, the burgundy and mustard colours. For the CRS Foundation logo, we added two other colours a deeper burgundy and a dark teal.
